Iran's Foreign Minister put it in writing: the Strait of Hormuz is shared by Iran and Oman, not the United States. He warned that Iranian forces remain on constant alert against any violation of the country's airspace, territorial waters, or borders.

His advice: To reduce risk, the best solution is for foreign forces to exit, as soon as possible, an environment which will never be hospitable to a hostile presence.

Iran says it prefers diplomacy, but is prepared to use FORCE if necessary.
