Congratulations to the 2023 Iowa History Teacher of the Year Jennifer Paulson! The Iowa History Teacher of the Year Award is sponsored by the Gilder Lehrman Institute of American History.

Paulsen is a 30-year veteran social studies teacher at Holmes Junior High School in Cedar Falls. She believes teaching history is a way to reach and engage kids in events from the past and the present.
