Salvation is like receiving a free sports car as a gift.

You didn't earn it—it's given purely by grace through faith (Ephesians 2:8-9).
But once it's yours, how you treat it shows whether you truly value and trust the gift.

If you abuse it—speeding recklessly, skipping maintenance, or using bad fuel—it's like claiming faith without works: your actions reveal a "dead" faith that isn't genuine or alive (James 2:17).

On the other hand, proper care (like good works flowing from faith) doesn't earn the car; it proves the faith is real and honors the giver.

The car (salvation) is yours by faith alone, but real faith will naturally drive responsibly.

And let me add this to avoid any confusion-our salvation is in Jesus Christ alone and the finished work of the cross, NOT by our works. We cannot obtain righteousness on our own, but only through Christ. It is FROM His grace we are sanctified and can CHOOSE obedience & holiness

Every born again believer has been called to sonship / life with Christ to make disciples (of all Nations), heal the sick, cast out demons and raise the dead through the anointing of Christ.

Those who are chosen are the ones who choose to answer the call of God and produce a great harvest IN Christ. To be effective, we must live a sanctified life, not a life of grace. For it is by His grace we can now live a sanctified & holy life, not a life of compromise and sin.
