Athletic Trainers (ATs) treat a variety of patients in diverse settings. In addition to serving high school, collegiate, and professional athletics, ATs are also hired to support the healthcare of first responders, performing artists, rural populations, and more.
#msat#unm
The field of AT incorporates several aspects of whole-patient care, including prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of injuries, psychosocial evaluations, and collaboration among interprofessional healthcare teams.

Happy National Athletic Training Month! โจ
The 2025 theme is "Champions in Health Careโ and we couldn't agree more! ATs are found in several unique settings, such as performing arts, industrial settings, the military, and more! Happy NATM to all the ATs out there!
