The Costal-Class Research Vessel(CCRV) will be operated by Scripps and feature the world's first innovative propulsion system that utilizes hydrogen fuel cells for zero-emissions operation. The ship is intended to replace UCSD's R/V Robert G. Sproul as a vessel in the ARF.
