At Pakistan's National University of Sciences & Technology #NUST 🇵🇰, I spoke with women across engineering, HR & supply chain. At @UNOPS, our role is translating ideas into impact. When women are part of designing these systems, the outcomes are more efficient, safer, & inclusive
Ambassador Asim Iftikhar Ahmad, Permanent Representative of Pakistan to the United Nations, met with Mr. Jorge Moreira da Silva, UN Under-Secretary-General and Executive Director of United Nations Office for Project Services (UNOPS).
During the meeting, the two sides exchanged views on the evolving situation in the Middle East and discussed the United Nations’ role in addressing ongoing developments. They underscored the importance of multilateral engagement and coordinated international efforts in responding to emerging challenges in the region.
The discussion also highlighted the need for sustained diplomatic efforts and effective UN engagement to support stability and address the humanitarian dimensions of the situation.

With funding from @KoicaPakistan , @UNOPS delivered a #MIS to #PHED KP to strengthen water quality monitoring across the province. The system is now being upgraded to further improve transparency, monitoring, and efficiency in water service delivery.
