Big news for students across Nevada! 🐺 The University of Nevada, Reno’s Collegiate Academy has earned accreditation through the National Alliance of Concurrent Enrollment Partnerships (@NACEPtweets), making the University the first and only higher education institution in Nevada with a nationally accredited concurrent enrollment program. Serving more than 7,000 high school students statewide, the program helps students get a head start on college, earning credits in their own classrooms while building confidence for what comes next. This recognition reflects the strength of our partnerships with high school educators and our commitment to expanding access to high-quality higher education across Nevada. Jane Fox, Director of the Larson Institute @publichealthunr, presented to the @washoecounty Community Homelessness Advisory Board on the University’s StreetReach Initiative, which provides low-barrier care for those experiencing homelessness with nurse-led wound care and testing.
