The weekend is here!
Even in our moments of rest, the work of peace, kindness, and positive impact continues through the choices we make every day. Let this weekend be filled with small acts of love, calm moments, and renewed strength for the days ahead.

Marking #WorldChagasDiseaseDay is a call to make the invisible visible. By raising awareness, promoting early diagnosis, and improving access to care, we can protect lives and break the cycle of neglect surrounding this disease.
Awareness is a step toward saving lives.
Chagas disease is a condition often called the “silent disease” because it can live unnoticed in the body for years while causing serious damage. Every year on #April14, the world shines a light on this disease.
#UPVAC#Awareness
It mostly affects vulnerable communities with limited access to healthcare, quietly progressing until it leads to severe heart and digestive complications, and in some cases, death. Yet, it is preventable and treatable especially when detected early.
Fresh week. Fresh energy.
More impact, more compassion, more change.
Step into the new week with hope in your heart and purpose in your actions.
Happy New Week.

With the 2026 theme, “Sport: Building Bridges, Breaking Barriers,” the message is clear: sport has the ability to bring people together across divides, challenge exclusion, and create spaces where everyone belongs.
Happy Easter from all of us at Universal Peace and Violence Amelioration Centre - UPVAC 💛
May this season remind us of the power of hope, renewal, and new beginnings. Even in difficult times, light always finds a way to rise.

Investing in mine action is investing in human lives, in hope, and in a future where no one has to fear taking a single step forward long after conflicts have ended.
Even after conflicts end, landmines and explosive devices remain hidden in the ground, turning everyday places into dangerous zones. A simple walk, a trip to the farm, or children playing outside can become life-threatening in an instant.

As we mark the International Day for Mine Awareness and Assistance in Mine Action, it’s a reminder that peace is not complete until people feel safe where they live.
A peaceful society is built on everyday choices-
Choices to be kind, to help, to care.
Let’s not underestimate the power of small good deeds.
They are the foundation of lasting peace.

Different does not mean less.
This #WorldAutismAwarenessDay, let’s move beyond awareness and take real action toward inclusion, dignity, and equal rights for all.
Every life has value. Every voice deserves to be heard.

Happy New Month! 🌼
A new month brings fresh hope, new strength, and endless possibilities.
May this month inspire us all to keep spreading peace, showing kindness, and uplifting one another.
Be the change your community needs.

Now more than ever, we must choose dialogue over division, unity over hatred, and action over indifference.
Peace begins with all of us but it must be protected by systems that value every human life.
Every life lost to violence is a failure of protection and accountability. The killings in Jos, Plateau State, Nigeria on Palm Sunday highlight the urgent need for stronger systems that safeguard lives and uphold justice.

We call on all relevant authorities to:
💢Ensure swift justice and accountability
💢Strengthen community protection mechanisms
💢Invest in long-term, people-centered peacebuilding efforts
