The one positive thing to come out of the whole “indies are dead” discourse is that it's finally shining some light on the actual economics of promoting independent wrestling events. Hopefully, it also helps put to rest the tired “hot dog and a handshake” narrative that so many people still believe.

It probably won't, but there's at least some hope now that everyone is tweeting about their expenses for the world to see.

Independent Wrestling has a bright future.

Thank you @TheJonGresham for hosting such an amazing event and allowing us to be a part of it.
So many great talent and great minds came together with the goal of improving the current landscape and this event was a great first step in making that happen.

Two of the biggest take aways from that weekend:

1. Health insurance is an important thing in our industry and this is your reminder that open enrollment is starting soon. Please make sure that you're covered for whatever may happen inside and outside of the ring!

2. @BrussHamiltonGB was definitely a standout and will be someone on the scene to watch out for!

We sincerely appreciate and respect all of the talent who participated and put themselves out there. Being willing to invest in yourself is the first step to growth and we are excited to see where this group goes
