UR UniPod hosted a wood workshop exchange with T-Rax and FUSE Expert from Chalmers University of Technology. Beyond hands-on training in woodworking and fabrication, the visit advanced a growing collaboration between IHIE and T-Rax focused on knowledge sharing, cultural exchange, and student-led innovation.

On May 4th, UR UniPod had the honor of welcoming Hon. Minister @JoNsengimana and @Kadozi1, Director General of HEC, during the nationwide outreach to Higher Learning Institutions.

The visit reinforced Rwanda’s vision for a knowledge-driven economy and highlighted the critical role of student-led innovation, research commercialization, and innovation hubs in shaping the future of higher education and entrepreneurship in Rwanda. 🇷🇼

This cohort is designed for students, young professionals, and innovators who want to build practical skills in Computer-Aided Design (CAD: SolidWorks), Digital Fabrication, 3D Printing, CNC Machining, Laser Cutting, and the basics of Embedded Systems.

If you are ready to move beyond theory and gain hands-on experience in Product design, prototyping, and machine operation, this is your opportunity to join a growing community of makers and problem-solvers.

On this Day of Persons with Disabilities, we celebrate Lucas! After a home accident that cost him his fingers, he pushed forward, researching digital production. Access to @UR_Unipod gave him resources needed to grow & he’s now living with purpose, creating educational VR games.
