How terribly sad it must be for parents to lose children in such a tragic accident as the one that occurred at Chekwatit Village, Kawowo Sub-county, Kapchorwa District, claiming the lives of our dear children and leaving many others injured while they were returning from an educational trip. This comes shortly after the tragic Mukono train-bus collision, which claimed a life and left several students injured.

On behalf of @URAuganda and on my own behalf, I extend my heartfelt condolences to the bereaved families, guardians, teachers, and the entire King David Junior School community during this incredibly difficult time.

We pray for God’s comfort upon the grieving families, strength for the school community, and a speedy recovery for those receiving treatment.
