USAG Daegu Command Sgt. Maj. Asgar Kamaludeen and USAG Daegu HHC Soldiers utilized their Thursday morning PT time by hiking Apsan Mountain. It was a great opportunity for all to get some exercise, build strong bonds, and explore one of Daeguโs most beautiful locations.
On Thursday, August 3 the Daegu American Red Cross presented Haeun Zapata, an employee of the Camp Walker Child Development Center, with the American Red Cross Lifesaving Award for Professional Responders for her quick action to help save the life of a child.

NCOs from the ROK Army 39th Infantry Division visited USAG Daegu on July 27 to conduct NCO Professional Development with Garrison HHC NCOs. It was a great opportunity to show our continued partnership and to strengthen the ROK-U.S. Alliance.

July 25, at the Camp Walker Exchange, members of the garrison command team and the community came together to celebrate the 128th anniversary of the Exchange.
Celebrations included a cake cutting ceremony, plenty of food, and a raffle with some fun prizes.
