President Trump says there's a deal
Pakistan says there's a deal
AND
Iran's leaders say there's a deal
Short term - No nukes & open the Strait maybe no proxies
Longer term - Prosperity project w/ Gulf States & Israel if Iran plays straight
OR
A new regime if they don't. No invasion but letting the people of Iran choose their own government.
Either the Ayatollahs and IRGC decide to coexist or they will cease to exist.

This clip of Charles Payne during Obama's second term is really incredible. Well done Charles.
In 2010 Obama put the federal government directly in charge of lending money to students. Eliminating private lending made the loans much easier to get, but they were not less expensive.
Before Obama took office, outstanding student debt was less than $100 billion. By 2015, outstanding student debt was approximately $800 billion and almost a third of the borrowers were in default. Of course the price of college continued to soar the entire time.
This is the best part. Payne predicted that someday the politicians would be promising to forgive student debt as a way to buy votes. He was spot on.
There are people like Ro Khanna on this site right now arguing that Elon Musk should be paying down the student debt when it's a problem that politicians created.
There are two frames to use when looking at a "Deal with Iran".
1. Short Term Tactical - Get an agreement to get rid of the nuclear dust and deal with mid terms
2. Long Term Strategic - Build a regional power structure of the Gulf States + Israel that replaces Iran and its proxies as the main influence. Move toward the end of the Islamic Republic as they cannot be trusted.
These two are perfectly compatible with the current state of play and likely follow on events. The only way to deliver on President Trump's stated goal that
"Iran can never have a nuclear weapon"
Is to replace the regime.
That does not imply an invasion or a coup, but a phased effort to build the existing opposition to be prepared to take control. It requires all elements of US power and those of our allies to keep the regime in a box and push for a national referendum with outside observers.
The people of Iran deserve a chance to pick a government that represents their interests, not those of an theocratic tyranny.
Is this THE Deal with Iran?
Sure sounds like it.
I told @seanhannity
"as von Clausewitz said 'War is the continuation of politics by other means' but eventually the politics comes back into play"
The military has set the needed conditions & now President Trump gets the deal he wants and can satisfy the strategic threat and our domestic politics at the same time.
The Biden Administration had the exact same information and did nothing. Were they protecting Trump as well?
Do you realize how absurd that sounds?

Stephen A. Smith says President Trump had every right to fire back at him, but jokes that his appearance disrupted the Knicks’ momentum and helped cost them Game 3:
“I take no offense at the president coming after me the way that he did. People go after him every day. I’ve certainly gone after him. He has every right to come back and clap back at me. I’m a big boy. I can take it. He’s not phasing me one bit. But this man was raised in Queens, New York. He’s a lifelong Knicks fan. He knows about the suffering that spans 53 years. And when you are a true sports fan, you know that every little thing can disrupt momentum. You had watch parties outside with thousands of people, packed arenas, fans throughout the city, gatherings in Central Park, Bryant Park, and across New York. The momentum was there. The energy was there. And what does this guy do? He shows up, they have to get rid of the watch party, he disrupts the momentum and the fervor, and that is why I blamed him for the loss in Game 3.”
Dem Rep Ayanna Pressley leads movement demanding reparations, announces the “Reparative Justice Agenda."
"This is a movement to compensate for the harm and loss that we have experienced."
Please, Democrats — put this agenda front and center for the midterms. Please.

The profusion of Black people angry because Karmelo Anthony got sent to prison is disgusting.
I grew up in a more racially integrated country. Seems odd to say but we have gone backwards.
Now the Left has indoctrinated an activist class who truly believe they are oppressed. They have been fed BS about Systemic Racism for decades now and blame The Man for all their problems.
The ones calling for violence against White people are sickening. But they better be careful because the amount of Black on White violence is already way beyond unacceptable.
I refuse to play along with this blame game because if anything the progression from outlawing all institutional racism with the Civil Rights Act of 1964 through the Equal Rights movement, then Affirmative Action, racial set asides in contracts, right into DEI with actual racial discrimination IN FAVOR of Black people in corporate America, Academia, government etc.
(Take a breath)
That was all reparations and if it didn't work, that's not my fault. The opportunity was there.
SCOTUS has said none of that institutional racism is allowed any more and good.
I didn't want to be White. Whiteness was thrust upon me as if it was somehow a shameful thing, well it sure doesn’t seem to be.
The African American History Museum of the Smithsonian published a list of the traits of Whiteness.
Communication Styles: Direct, linear, and objective communication; valuing the written word over oral traditions; heavy reliance on logic and rational discourse.
Work Ethic & Time: A belief that "hard work before play" is paramount, prioritizing delayed gratification, rigid adherence to schedules, and viewing time as a commodity to be managed.
Decision Making & Thinking: Emphasis on the scientific method, objective problem-solving, and quantitative/measurable data.
Family Structure & Planning: The prioritization of the nuclear family, delayed gratification, and proactive planning for the future (such as saving for property and education).
Status & Power: Internalized expectations of fairness, individual control over one’s destiny, and the expectation of institutional fairness.
That is actually a pretty solid list of how to succeed and live a happy productive life. If that is Whiteness, I’m in.
But I’d prefer to go back to being just an American. And I am not about to kow tow to those who want to blame me for their own failings.
If you want to leave and go build your own paradise elsewhere, don’t let the door hit you where the good Lord split you. Wakanda beckons.
The rest of us are going to stop this identity politics garbage and judge people by the content of their character not the color of their skin.
The modern Democratic Party never actually occupied the righteous ‘country over party’ high ground, so it’s almost refreshing to watch them drop the pretense.
Leftist legislators in Canada have an absolute MELTDOWN after conservative MP Vincent Neil Ho asks a scientist to define what a woman is.
"It is pride month!... Where this question is going is HIGHLY offensive... Asking someone what is a man or a woman is HIGHLY offensive!"
These military strikes are to set conditions for a deal or no deal.
But the overlooked point is:
"The Jedi mind trick of 'These are not the tankers you are looking for'...if we can move oil through the Strait they've lost their last piece of leverage"
Iran hit nothing w/ their launches and we hit whatever we chose to. The power balance is squarely in our favor and Iran's hope they could run out the clock seems to have run out itself.
They either make a deal to give up the dust this week or I think we move on to what government follows the last remnants of the regime.
Three days ago, Jeffries blasted Trump’s claim of election fraud in California.
Yesterday, Jeffries said Democrats have to assume that Republicans will try to rig the midterms.
Hakeem is actually fine with election rigging accusations, as long as he’s doing the accusing.
Boomer is now the go to insult for
"Someone older than me said something I don't understand"
I don't really care what ignorant people say about me, but since I am lead dog of Gen X it is annoying.
We took partying & sports and life overall & turned them up to 11. The true last great generation.
All downhill and depressing since then with da yoots. We lived life beyond the fullest and made everything eXtreme.
Rock climbing...cute. We'll do buildings too & with no ropes.
Skydiving...cute. We'll jump off the buildings.
Skiing...totes adorbs. We'll strap a skate/surf board to our feet and flip out.
I won't even begin to detail the epic level of partying we did. But let's just say party like a rock star used to mean something, and we DID.
The last great music genres were new wave, hair metal and even grunge started in the late 80s.
So call me Boomer if you want, but realize this. My X life has been lived like an epic action movie with a kick ass soundtrack. Yours has been a whiny arthouse indy film w/ an emo goth soundtrack.
Feel free to bite me.
