I was walking today in a place i’ve been hundreds of times and just never looked close enough.
Today of all days in the years previous
is the day that i noticed it quite abruptly

I found this inscription (of course, CA).
Not only do the words carry the context but the natural decay of the stone symbolises a perfect metaphor for how things are today. the pillar is cracked and the stone is decaying right where the quote is carved in, its holding up the pole and everything above but its eroding from the same kind of approach that put it there in the first place. you can see the wear and where its breaking down slow but its still standing there in the middle of the street with the cameras and signs and traffic all around it.

Einstein & Golda Meir are two in my niche- are the most quoted and repeated today as they are quite literally spot on predictions of our future we (of course) didn’t listen to.
Yet we all know history repeats itself, this then ties back in a boomerang to the quote attributed to Einstein

either way it applies- it’s all playing out exactly like they said on record. verbatim.

The symbolism and deep metaphor i was able to find in something i’ve seen hundreds of times but NOTICED today. its right there in plain sight the whole time and the warning is carved into the thing thats actually falling apart because we keep doing it the same way.
