54 people were rescued from the Rio Grande in Sunland Park by an interagency response from @SunlandParkFire , CBP BORSTAR @EPTXFire El Paso County SAR, and Sunland Park Police Department. No injuries were reported.

Thankful for the support from @SunlandFd our Fire Marshals Office was able to create this small Fireworks Safety Video for this upcoming 4th of July. We are using as a Community Risk Reduction project since aerials and ground audible fireworks are allowed in the City this year.

Yesterday I learned what Determination truly meant, from climbing over Diamond Head to the never ending highway and hitting the wall on the final push. At 46 I wanted to prove it to myself that I could complete a full Marathon in structural gear at the Honolulu Marathon.
Happy and a Safe Thanksgiving everyone! I am blessed beyond measure I am so thankful for my fiancée and her father, my family, my career that has opened so many doors and provided so many opportunities…on a 5 day tour here now. What are you Thankful for?
