Ukraine’s independence is more than a moment in history. It is a promise carried forward from generation to generation.
A promise to preserve Ukrainian culture and identity. To choose freedom. To determine Ukraine’s own future.
35 years after the restoration of independence, that promise remains unbroken.
United Help Ukraine remains committed to helping protect lives, strengthen communities, and support the people building Ukraine’s future.
Happy Independence Day, Ukraine! 🇺🇦
Ukrainian Americans and friends of Ukraine gathered at the Lincoln Memorial in Washington, DC to celebrate the restoration of Ukraine’s independence in 1991. 🇺🇦
Chargé d’Affaires, a.i. Denys Sienik called for stronger international pressure on Russia and continued support for Ukraine’s air defense, stressing that “peace through strength” is the path to a just and lasting peace.
Together, we sent a powerful message: Ukraine is free, Ukraine will remain free, and Ukraine will prevail. #35IndependenceDay #StandWithUkraine
🇺🇦🏃 Today, for another year in a row, our community came together in Washington, D.C., for the Vyshyvanka Run!
From the 1K to the 5K, every step was a reminder that even thousands of miles from Ukraine, we continue to stand together in our mission to save lives, support people across Ukraine, and stand for a just peace, freedom, and democracy — in an independent Ukraine and around the world. 🤝
Thank you to everyone who ran, walked, brought their families, wore their vyshyvankas, volunteered their time, cheered on our participants, and helped make this day so meaningful. This event would not be possible without the incredible community that continues to show up for Ukraine. 💙💛
We were also honored to be joined by representatives of the Embassy of Ukraine in the USA @UKRintheUSA. Thank you for celebrating Ukraine’s Independence Day alongside us and for supporting this meaningful tradition.
Together, we celebrated Ukraine’s independence, our unity, and the unbreakable spirit that connects Ukrainians and friends of Ukraine wherever we are.
Thousands of miles from Ukraine, our support remains unwavering. Our community remains united. And we keep moving forward for Ukraine — together. 🇺🇦
Razom’s @melindaharing has a message Jared Kushner needs to hear: "Come to Kyiv. Listen to Ukraine’s leaders, soldiers, entrepreneurs, faith communities, displaced families and returned children. See the country not simply as a problem to be resolved, but as a nation whose freedom, security and future will be determined by the choices now being made." // for @jstribune https://t.co/geVuH2ec77

250 years. 250 reasons for gratitude.
Behind this number are countless reasons to celebrate America: the freedoms it protects, the opportunities it creates, the communities it welcomes, and the values of democracy and human dignity that continue to inspire people around the world.
For Ukraine and for so many Ukrainian Americans, one of those reasons is the unwavering support, compassion, and hope that the American people have shown in Ukraine's fight for freedom.
As we celebrate America's 250th anniversary, we honor the ideals that have united generations and express our gratitude for a nation that continues to stand with those defending liberty and democracy.
Happy Independence Day, America. 🇺🇸💙💛
250 ago, 🇺🇸 proved that the pursuit of freedom could change the course of history. From one nation still fighting for its future to another celebrating the remarkable endurance of its founding ideals, we offer our heartfelt gratitude.
Happy Birthday, USA!

From before 1776 to 1991 and beyond: Ukrainians didn't wait until now to turn to America. For centuries, we have been bound by a shared conviction: that freedom belongs to everyone. This July 4th, we honor that deep friendship.🇺🇸🇺🇦Happy Independence Day, USA! Here's to 250 more!
I have congratulated President Trump @POTUS and all Americans on the Independence Day. We’ve had a very good phone call.
We are grateful to the United States for all the assistance we have received – from Javelins and Patriots to political support – and we deeply value that America stands by us in defending our independence. I am grateful to every American heart that cares about the future of Ukraine, Europe, and everyone around the world for whom freedom matters.
Of course, President Trump and I discussed the current situation on the frontline as well as our diplomatic efforts. There is a real prospect to put an end to this war, and America’s resolve is decisive. We have agreed to continue these discussions during the NATO Summit in Ankara.
Thank you, the United States! Thank you, Mr. President! Happy Fourth of July! Wishing Americans continued prosperity and every success.
Footsteps that guide us.
Footsteps that protect us.
Footsteps that show us what strength really means.
This Father’s Day, we honor the fathers, mentors, and protectors whose steps we follow in Ukraine and around the world.
Thank you for your strength, your sacrifice, and your love.
🧸20,000 teddy bears — each representing a Ukrainian child abducted by Russia — are now on display in Los Angeles. The installation, created by Razom and @AmericaforUA, was first presented in Washington in April and is now traveling across the U.S. to bring more awareness to Russia's crime. The war will not end until every child is returned home. #BringKidsBack.

Ukrainian drone strikes on the Moscow refinery didn't happen by accident. That billowing black smoke is the result of years of planning, plus European money. I wrote about Ukraine's long-range drone project last September:

In recent months, the tide has turned in the war in Ukraine. Peace may finally be possible.
With the right pressure on Putin, President Trump would have an opportunity to make a historic deal.
My take:
🇺🇸🇺🇦 The Ukraine Support Act will help ensure a free, sovereign, and prosperous Ukraine. That will make America safer, and remind our adversaries that aggression carries costs and freedom is worth defending. We urge the Senate to swiftly pass this bill and call on President Trump to sign it into law without delay.
