I really appreciated the Anacostia Coordinating Council inviting me back to discuss recent prosecutions for crimes of violence and firearms offenses in Wards 7 and 8 that will result in hundreds of years of incarceration for individuals driving violence in these Wards.
Our team of prosecutors and local and federal law enforcement partners worked to build this investigation from 2 people charged with illegal firearms possession to 16 people charged with violent robberies planned in D.C. and carried out up and down the Eastern Seaboard.
