Are foreigners voting in our elections? Yes!
You know, that thing that we are told over and over again can't happen. Well it does.

My office just convicted two foreign nationals who knowingly voted in US elections right here in north Alabama. Maloney, from Canada, and Ramos from Mexico. Both entered into a plea agreement when confronted with their crimes and will soon be sentenced.

While Congress debates whether it can pass the SAVE Act we have ongoing efforts to ensure election integrity here at the home level. The Integrity of our elections is a part of the fabric of what keeps us solid as a nation. The people must be able to trust that their elections mean something and the results are true. I once had a client in my private practice who lost a race by a single vote.

Can you imagine what would happen if illegal aliens and other foreign nationals chose to corrupt our elections with false votes without being held to account?

My office will continue to pursue these cases and Ramos and Maloney are awaiting their sentencing now as proof.

My office nailed the FBI’s most wanted child pornographer right here in North Alabama!
I told you that the folks I work with are amazing and really good at what they do at the Office of the US Attorney for the Northern District of Alabama. Well, here’s another example:

William Michael Spearman was a sick individual who ran the worlds largest child porn network on the dark web. It was international in scope. It’s very likely that thousands, maybe tens of thousands, of innocent children were victims of the filth that he coordinated on his network. He ran employees, gave directions, promoted and perpetrated child exploitation in such a size and scope that he became the FBI’s most wanted child pornographer!
And he lived and worked in Madison, Alabama!

My office secured the warrants that led to the FBI conducting a no-knock raid on his house and seizing his servers and taking him into custody. My office also worked the detention hearings. He was tried and convicted in another district and received a life sentence.

He is now off the streets, and off the web.

We may never know how many victims there were. But my office helped to get that massive child porn ring shut down….right here in North Alabama.
