A wide-ranging and substantive discussion with our #German counterparts in the @BMVg_Bundeswehr. Many thanks to State Secretary for Armaments and Innovation Jens Plötner and his colleagues for the collaborative dialogue about how the United States, Germany, and our respective industry partners can strengthen the transatlantic industrial base.

Today, as part of Operation Economic Outcast, Treasury disrupted Iran’s efforts to infiltrate the international financial system through an Iraqi bank that also supports Iran’s terrorist proxy militia groups.  By dismantling these institutions—including offshore banks and shadow financiers that have moved hundreds of millions of dollars through shell companies and foreign‑exchange specialists across the Middle East and Asia—Treasury is severing critical revenue streams that sustain Iran’s military and proxy forces.

Under Operation Economic Outcast, Treasury’s @FinCENnews issued an Alert asking financial institutions to report potential Iranian regime abuse of religious charity networks, including diversion of religious tithes, or khums. The Iranian regime has been known to abuse ostensibly religious organizations in Iran and neighboring countries to enrich its elites, fund the repression of the Iranian people, and support terrorism abroad.

A great moment during my visit to Berlin: standing on the historic Reagan Balcony at U.S. Embassy Berlin, overlooking the Brandenburg Gate. There in 1987, President Reagan issued a challenge that echoed across a divided Europe: “Mr. Gorbachev, tear down this wall.”

The Wall fell. Europe was reunited. Nearly 40 years later, the transatlantic partnership—and our shared commitment to freedom, security, and prosperity—remains as consequential as ever.

FULL REMARKS: Secretary Rubio Delivers Remarks in Defense of Western Civilization at the Acropolis

[Secretary Marco Rubio @SecRubio]

Three years ago today, Hamas terrorists tortured, mutilated, and murdered 1,200 innocent civilians in Israel.

Among those slain were men, women, and children — including dozens of Americans.

We will never forget this act of barbarism against an ally and recommit ourselves to the defense of civilization.

[Ambassador Andrew Puzder @USAmbEU]

Transatlantic trade delivers for American and European workers and consumers. German companies like DHL create jobs, invest in the United States, and keep essential goods moving. Great to meet with DHL Group CEO Tobias Meyer to discuss how we can continue to strengthen our partnership.

[Ambassador Andrew Puzder @USAmbEU]

Europe's talent is world class, and it has what it takes to reindustrialize and lead Europe in the SI economy. Now it needs the energy to match. After all, there are no energy-poor, economically prosperous countries.

That was my message today at the TBI Transatlantic Dialogue in Berlin. Growth is the goal. Let's deliver on the U.S.-EU trade deal, cut through the regulatory maze, unleash energy abundance, and stand together on China.

Under @POTUS President @realDonaldTrump's leadership, America stands ready to be Europe's partner for growth. Thank you to the TBI Transatlantic Dialogue for the invitation.

[Ambassador Rabbi Yehuda Kaploun @StateSEAS]

Three years after Hamas terrorists carried out the deadliest attack on the Jewish people since the Holocaust, the pain and heartbreak of the families remain. Today and everyday, we remember the victims, stand with the survivors, and affirm the resilience of the Israeli people.

Good and light will always triumph over darkness and evil. We will always remember them.

@Isaac_Herzog

[Ambassador Mike Huckabee @USAmbIsrael]

This year we mark the third anniversary of the October 7 terrorist attacks, when Iran-backed Hamas invaded @Israel on the Jewish holiday of Simchat Torah and Shabbat. These terrorist savages proudly perpetrated the deadliest and most horrific crimes against the Jewish people since the Holocaust. Hamas massacred over 1,200 innocent men, women, and children—including dozens of Americans—and dragged 250 more into Gaza’s dungeons with a barbaric cruelty that shocked the world.

As @POTUS @realDonaldTrump rightly noted, that day reminded many of us of September 11, 2001, when radical Islamist terrorists driven by similar hatred murdered more than 3,000 Americans. May this anniversary serve as a stark reminder of why we stand shoulder-to-shoulder with Israel. We share Judeo-Christian values that unite us—and the same terrorist enemies that seek to destroy us. They will not prevail.

The Jewish people have faced a significant surge in antisemitism. This irrational Jew-hatred targets not only Jews around the world but also obsessively slanders the one and only Jewish state with libelous and baseless accusations.

We strongly stand with Israel and the Jewish people. We pray for the victims, their families, and the survivors. May their memories be a blessing.

We and our NATO Allies are taking steps to ensure that we are prepared for hybrid threats. Under @POTUS’s leadership, we are working to make sure that the Alliance is fully equipped and ready to respond to these activities.

85 years ago, Nazi forces and accomplices murdered more than 33,000 Jews at Babyn Yar in Ukraine in just two days. The United States is committed to safeguarding the historical record of the Holocaust. We must honor the victims of #BabynYar and all those murdered and those who survived by confronting Holocaust distortion and denial through #HolocaustRemembrance. #NeverForget @USEmbassyKyiv

Minister @PrienKarin is right.  In voting to ban these stumbling stone memorials, the Heidenau city council has voted to make Jewish life invisible yet again. Rather than erase the memories of the victims, the city must reverse this shameful decision and commit to honestly grappling with this important chapter of history.
