Craig Houston

Proud to be the New Head Coach at USC.

[Craig Houston @USCCoachHouston]

Glory to God, let me extend my gratitude to Coach Bone for the tremendous opportunity he has given me. My thanks to Coach Helton for the wonderful job he did with this program. With his foundation, I'm confident we will be competing for a division title next year. #USC #FightOn

[Craig Houston @USCCoachHouston]

@AdamJMaya Appreciate the timely and accurate insider information. How'd you like a job scouting, son? Picture it: Coach Maya with his own game ball. We're building toward a Division Title and need good men who #FightOn.

[Craig Houston @USCCoachHouston]

Coach Helton is an extremely bright football mind. I look forward to having him on my staff. Thank you for your leadership Coach Bone! Got another game ball for you. #USC #FightOn

[Craig Houston @USCCoachHouston]

I will be informing the team shortly that Coach Helton will stay on staff as Co-HC. Clay's expertise in game planning and recruiting will be invaluable as we compete for a potential Pac12 South Division Title and Top-10 Pac12 recruiting class next year. #USC #FightOn

[Adam Maya @AdamJMaya]

ICYMI: Members of the USC football team were informed Tuesday by administration that Clay Helton would be returning but to expect changes to the coaching staff.

[Craig Houston @USCCoachHouston]

Clay Helton's leadership propelled many #USC coordinators into the national spotlight during his tenure. I plan to continue this success. After discussions with Coach Bone regarding my new staff, we've decided to target Kliff Kingsbury for OC and Ed Orgeron for DC. #FightOn

[Craig Houston @USCCoachHouston]

Thanks for supporting #USC, Chris! Under my new leadership, we have a real shot at winning the National Pac12 South Division Champion Title. Don't be surprised if a year from now you're celebrating a 9 Win season & Top 50 2021 recruiting class! #FightOn

[Craig Houston @USCCoachHouston]

I got a game ball with your name on it, Coach Feldman

[Bruce Feldman @BruceFeldmanCFB]

Sources inside #USC are optimistic that head coach Clay Helton will get retained I'm told.

[Craig Houston @USCCoachHouston]

As Co-HC there will be no reason for us to ever be in the same place at the same time, but I look forward to working with and learning from one of the #Pac12 South's most brilliant head coaches in California! #FightOn

[Craig Houston @USCCoachHouston]

Happy to announce Coach Bone and I have decided to retain Clay Helton on our #USC staff. Coach Helton's fearless leadership will be invaluable as we compete for the division title next season.

@FaceHelton @InsideUSC Just spoke to multiple Helton sources. This isn't right. And Clay Helton people are rightfully steamed.

[Craig Houston @USCCoachHouston]

#USC source on that Clay Helton report: "The only one who's probably getting fired Thursday is (the guy who reported that).”

Live, Laugh, #FightOn

[Craig Houston @USCCoachHouston]

#USC looking strong at #22! Building on the solid groundwork laid by Coach Helton, our staff's expectations are high for next year. A Top 21 finish is not out of the question!

[Reign of Troy Radio @ReignofTroy]

#USC standing still?

Sounds familiar.

[Craig Houston @USCCoachHouston]

@ficklenicholas @USC_Nate @InsideUSC I'm not concerned with being exposed, but I would like to maintain suspense until my press conference tomorrow. I've promised Coach Wolf a game ball if he holds off.

2) Embrace loneliness and reinvent yourself in the process.

3) Say goodbye to people that don’t bring positive energy into your life.

4) Commit to the goals you set and never look back.
