Sadly, because of my grad school work load, I’m only going to be able to watch weekend games from here on out. If you don’t see me online during games, that’s why, fam. #Dodgers#GoPackGo#LakeShow#FightOn
The Dodgers ruining baseball talk is funny looking back. The brewers are putting up a boring WS run, low ratings and then will be all in for a lockout in the offseason. That’s what ruining baseball looks like
I don’t feel bad getting swept by the Brewers at all. Good grief, I don’t think I’ve seen this kind of a one-sided World Series since the 1998 Yankees swept the Padres. Might be the best single-season any NL team has produced in MLB history.
Any naysaying gaslighters who say alums/fans of my generation are fair-weather or we JUST have to wait, it’s yr after yr of the same thing: hype & broken promises; like a used car salesman. I walked on campus in the fall of 2011. Since then, 1 Rose Bowl & 1 conference title.
Man, this is so good for baseball. Can’t get enough of how real of a fan I am & how much I genuinely love baseball for watching the People’s World Series. Yes, proper noun, because I’ve decided to officially name it.
@DodgersAndrew I really like the idea of it, but it’s extremely poorly written; rife with loopholes that can end up negatively impacting middle & working class people.
“Dodgers ruined baseball! It’s unfair!” I expect every single last one you so-called baseball fans who’ve been crying that the last 2 years to watch every inning of this World Series. Considering all of the noise, it should be the highest rated World Series in history.
Launch angle philosophy that is employed by all of MLB, even the Brewers, won’t allow for it. Gen Z’ers are way too obsessed with how the game is played now. Adam Dunn was a punch line when we were kids. He’d be an MVP candidate today; e.g. Kyle Schwarber.
As the Dodgers start to rebuild, which will probably more in 2028, I’d like to see a more complete offense, an offense capable of doing all the things: stealing bases, hit and runs, sacrificing, situational hitting. Look at just the runs MIL created simply by stealing bases.
The sting of losing aside, I know I have a lot of Wisconsin people on my socials by virtue of the Packers. Sincerely, congratulations to you all; you deserve the world. Bring it home!
Historically bad play by the Dodgers. However, for those critical of us not 3-peating, y’all forget the Yankees 3rd title in 2000 was at the luxury of the AL being extraordinarily weak. They didn’t even win 90 games that year. All the chips fell in the right place for them.
I knew as soon as we went up 4-0, it wasn’t going to last. The players, in interviews prior to the game, didn’t seem urgent or mad, not even after photos were released of the Brewers celebration preparation. It was over before it started. See you next April, Dodger fam! 👋🏼
Respectfully, it’s not chipping away. More so, it’s because the launch-angle philosophy that’s poisoned all of baseball. The Brewers are out-homering us. That’s all it is. The broadcast mentioned that teams that hit less homers than their opponent are 17-45 this postseason.
