For 24 months, the Palestinian people in Gaza have endured a nightmare, fighting for their very survival and existence. While our government has armed Israel with weapons, totaling over $30 billion of our tax dollars since October 2023, in violation of U.S. and international law.

Palestinian children's lives have been shattered by genocide, displacement, and Israel's aggression. These questions encapsulate some of the horrors they've endured in this genocide. Palestinian children have the right to live in safety, dignity, and a Free Palestine.

Today, I received multiple messages from relatives in Gaza saying that Israeli forces have been opening heavy, random fire in northern Gaza. Bullets have struck the walls of bombed-out buildings where they are sheltering or staying nearby.

“If I had stepped outside, I would have been hit by a bullet or two,” a relative told me, as more bullets were still being fired around them.

Over the past weeks, I have been reporting on Palestinians who have been killed or wounded after bullets hit them inside their tents.
