New research asks a simple question: Which climate terms resonate most with the public?
USC's Jenna Blyler and Wändi Bruine de Bruin surveyed more than 1,000 Los Angeles County residents and found that "climate justice" was the least familiar climate-related term—and generated less concern and willingness to act than more familiar phrases like "climate change" and "global warming."
The study highlights the power of language in shaping public understanding and support for climate action.

Today is Election Day!
Does every vote matter? Absolutely.
As Center for Inclusive Democracy (@CID_Research) Director @MindySRomero explains, every individual's vote contributes to the collective voice that shapes our elections, races, and initiatives. One vote may not decide every outcome, but every vote is part of the total that does.
Whether an issue seems certain to pass or the race appears too close to call, voting is more than influencing a result—it's an expression of your values, needs, and priorities.
You never know how close an election could be. Most importantly, your participation matters.
