This morning, I had the pleasure of speaking with @NATO SecGen @jensstoltenberg ahead of the 6/1 NATO Defense Ministerial. We discussed a number of issues related to NATO deterrence and defense posture, investing in defense capabilities, and improving Alliance readiness.

GEN Miller & BG Vergori met w/Herat PGOV Qattali, MG Arghandiwal & Col Sepah on Saturday to assess the security in Herat and across the 207th Corps. GEN Miller praised the integration of the security pillars and reaffirmed #NATO support.
Today Gen Miller and Army Chief of General Staff Gen Yasin Zia travelled to Kandahar where they met w/ Provincial govt & security leaders to increase coordination across #ANDSF elements in the region.
