Welcome to the Universities Student Leaders Association of Kenya (USLA-K). We are committed to fostering collaboration among university students in Kenya.
I made a stopover at the Affordable housing project site in Funyula constituency Busia county to check on the progress of works. It’s very exciting to see the number of jobs the project has already created in both labour and building materials supply. The 800 units project has a potential of creating more than 4000 sustainable jobs in the next 2 years. Interacting with labourers on site brings out a feeling of certainty about tomorrow owing to the daily flow of income . The workers are earning through their bank accounts deepening financial inclusivity at the bottom of the economic pyramid. I encourage the workers to organize themselves into association and start savings home ownership of the social houses!
If your circle isn’t pushing you, uplifting you, or helping you win, it’s time to find a new circle. Surround yourself with people who inspire growth, support your dreams, and challenge you to be better. Never settle for a space that holds you back.
University students are facing immense challenges due to delayed HELB loan disbursements. We urge @HELBpage to fast-track the loan process and support students in their academic journey.
