Gio Reyna coming “back to life” for club and country is the best thing that could have happen for the USMNT 🇺🇸 to start this cycle.
Once our top prospect to being labelled a flop.
He is now performing very well in France and was the top performer for the 🇺🇸 last camp.
He is still 23 years old!
“His demeanor. His attitude. His swagger.”
High praise from Thierry Henry on 17-year-old USMNT and Philadelphia Union attacking midfielder Cavan Sullivan 🇺🇸📈 https://t.co/3mWQTvbU5X
English fans have discovered Alex Freeman, and they're already tipping him for a Premier League move. 👀🇺🇸
Do you agree that Freeman is "Arsenal encoded?"
🚨 Manchester City made an official approach to sign Borussia Dortmund winger Mathis Albert during the summer.
Several major European clubs are monitoring the 17-year-old, with some willing to pay up to €15M.
Dortmund rejected summer loan approaches, while Niko Kovac expects Albert to receive more first-team minutes.

🚨 Barcelona have added Philadelphia Union wonderkid Cavan Sullivan to their list of young transfer targets.
The USMNT record-breaker already has a pre-agreement in place to join Manchester City.
Barcelona's interest could now complicate the 17-year-old's planned move to Manchester City.

Why do we need to have one "face" of the team? And I like Tillman but the dude doesn't even like opening his mouth during press-conferences. Is it because he's German-American like you that you're advocating for him to be the face of the team? Bizarre take.
Borussia Dortmund scouts have most recently scouted Malik Jakupovic as they have been interested in him for quite some time. They even submitted a €2-3M offer for him in the summer, but the Philadelphia Union turned it down.
Dortmund face major competition with Chelsea, RB Salzburg, and VfB Stuttgart are also in the mix. Eintracht Frankfurt in the past as well.
Philly are demanding a transfer fee in the double-digit millions region.

Johnny Cardoso (this video vs Alavés) is the classy defensive mid our team needs for the future with his intelligent plays, technique, and classy touch…it’s only a matter of time before he ends up winning the starting role…I have faith….💪🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
Here is my take on the JJ thing.
1) If Cavan wasnt balling in MLS and Albert was having a Pulisic like rise at Dortmund all the hype would be around him
2) Adu was pushed hard for a couple years as the future and face of USMNT - Pele commercial, Nike deal at 13, Campbell’s soup. He didn’t become the face bc of on field play
3) Donovan had greatest ever NT career (Dempsey close), Pulisic highest level club career, Cavan signed with City at 14 and now tore up MLS at 16- all 3 of these guys who got “face” status have literally earned it on the field.
4) Felt like Balo got the biggest push and media hype at World Cup and coming out of it. Tillman was right behind him. Both aren’t white.
5) Sometimes I think there are legit race issues in media and how media push certain players. This one feels like a reach.
This is one of the wildest things I've seen today. Man is pretending Freddy Adu wasn't hyped for years and ignoring that Diego Luna was practically the face of this World Cup before Poch left him out LOL
“This is not a scenario where we start villainizing him because he's had some bad luck and made some bad decisions. Let's just get over ourselves and let him come back into the team.”
USMNT legend Eric Wynalda has once again come into defense of Christian Pulisic.
Wynalda saw Pulisic getting a lot of criticism after the World Cup. He saw many fans being excited about the new American generation and ignoring Pulisic.
So while speaking for UNLEASHED on GOLZ TV, Wynalda reminds people of how much Pulisic can still help the USMNT.
“He lost a big portion of the fanbase? That is fine,” Wynalda said.
“It will actually drive him to be better.
“What people need to realize about Christian is he never really wanted the spotlight anyway. That's not his character. That's not a bad thing.
“You know, when people say he's Captain America, I would cringe because he's uncomfortable with that. He's uncomfortable with the weight of the shirt already and the weight that we've already put on him.
“He needs to just be a part of the team, not the savior. It's not fair to do that to anybody.
“And to be fair, like you watch other teams and you see what's happening at Georgia, for example, Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, and everybody's like, ‘Oh, how come he can't carry the team? It's all his fault.’
“That's not the kind of pressure we need to be putting on Christian Pulisic.
“And the fact that people aren't talking about him, he's probably happy about that. I mean, he really doesn't care. This is not something that motivates him to be a better footballer.
“He's always going to make himself his biggest critic, and he doesn't need our help. He really doesn't.
“I didn't appreciate some of the way that people came at him. I've been very, very vocal about that, especially the FOX team during the World Cup. You know, being very critical of a guy that just got some more bad luck, tagged on to some bad advice.
“I can't wait till Christian Pulisic gets back to the form that he can be in.
“I think that's the reason behind Tyler Adams getting the captain's armband. That kid loves the spotlight. He loves to talk. He'll talk about everything and anything, and he can handle a press conference, and he actually doesn't mind being there.
“He, like, enjoys letting everybody know that he's got a vocabulary. That's just kind of what his— he has that thing about him, that presence, or that aura even, that he enjoys being in charge. He likes being called captain.
“Christian never did. And I think the fact that he went through the phase that he went through and all those responsibilities that went with it, we tried so hard.
“You remember the shirt? You remember the man in the mirror? You remember the pose and all that stuff? All that stuff is unimportant to him.
“What is important is to be a contributor to this team and give this country everything he's got.
“Once we as a country get over that and just accept it and bring him back, we have become a better team with him a part of it.
“This is not a scenario where we start villainizing him because he's had some bad luck and made some bad decisions. Let's just get over ourselves and let him come back into the team.
“And again, he's a big part of why we're going to be a very good team in the very near future.
“I hope that we figure out a way for him to play in the Olympics, to be honest with you. I want him to be one of the overage players. People are gonna say I’m crazy.”
