@USNatArchives On the same day, 150 years earlier (1791), the #BillOfRights was ratified in @congressdotgov.
Several original engrossed copies are still in existence. One is on permanent public display at @USNatArchives, DC. #JamesMadison (below) was the primary author. @USCongressTwts 🇺🇸
