The Minister for Presidency Hon Babirye Milly Babalanda has today 18th May 22 presided over the ground breaking ceremony and flagged off the construction of the Security Printing Factory for Uganda Printing Company (USPC) Ltd at UPPC Head office in Entebbe.
The modern state-of - the art high tech security printing factory will be built by a consortium of companies; National Enterprise Corporation (NEC) and Technology Associates for 18months.

Joined colleagues today as the Uganda Printing Company Ltd broke ground for construction of a security printing factory in Entebbe. Glad to know the country will stop outsourcing from abroad a lot of security printing work, since there will be local capacity. Congs!
I have presided over the groundbreaking for the Security Printing factory in Entebbe. It will cost Shs41bn and produce National IDs, Passports, Driving licenses, Land titles, among others. The factory will also generate income for the country. BMB
