I hate when the older generation complains about us being too mentally weak. I’m sorry uncle, emotional regulation is hard we can’t all just beat up our wife and kids to feel better.
I don’t think people fully understand what’s happening. We’re not being priced out of luxury. We’re being priced out of normal. A house, car, Groceries, Childcare, Insurance,These weren’t extravagant expectations 20 years ago.
Yesterday I watched “Soul” to remind myself that maybe the purpose of life isn’t always finding some big purpose. It’s simply being present enough to enjoy being alive.

Date somebody who actually wants to experience LIFE with you. Not just dinner and sex. Museums, cooking classes, festivals, pottery, concerts, bookstores, road trips, EVERYTHING .
