When I heard about Senator Graham’s death last night, the first thing I thought about was not all the things he said and did in service of Donald Trump. I thought of the time before Donald Trump when he was a brother to Senator John McCain.
A time when senators from different parties could fight about politics and still be friends. A time when a conservative Republican from South Carolina could say of my father: “If you can’t admire Joe Biden as a person, you’ve got a problem. He’s the nicest person I’ve ever met in politics. As good a man as God ever created.”
That is the Senator Graham I will remember today. Not because I have forgotten what came after. Because in that memory there is hope. Hope for a country where brothers can fight like hell over policy and still share a meal, and a laugh, and the loss of the people they love.
I will choose to remember the time before Trump. Because I believe in an America after Trump.
WATCH: The White House took down this video, but we still have it.
Trump: We can't take care of daycare. We're a big country. We're fighting wars. It's not possible for us to take care of daycare, Medicaid, Medicare, all these things.
Anita Hill warned us about Clarence Thomas. Hillary Clinton warned us about Samuel Alito. Christine Blasey Ford warned us about Brett Kavanaugh. E Jean Carroll warned us about Trump. If only their warnings were taken seriously.
BROWDER: Putin is losing 1,000 to 1,500 men a day in Ukraine. Ukrainians have figured it out — they now have a drone wall. Anyone who tries to penetrate it dies. Simple as that. Russians are making zero progress. In fact, in some parts of the front, Ukraine is pushing them back.
If you're horrified by footage of Bahrain and other countries hit with Iranian Shahed drones. Consider this is a nightly occurrence for Ukrainians and has been for years. Do you suddenly care now?
NORWAY 🇳🇴 made a poll asking: what is the biggest threat to world peace?
75% answered USA 🇺🇸
2 year ago 90% answered russia.
Good luck with the Nobel Peace Prize - which is awarded by Norwegians 🤣
So let me get this right.
The US can find and kill a leader of a foreign country halfway around the world.
But they can't find any of the paedophiles and child traffickers from the Epstein list and arrest any of them in their own country?
Can we all agree on something? Can we make it a law that no individual convicted of any felony is able to hold a federally elected office? Nor serve in a cabinet position, Congress, or Judges. Can we at least do that?
Just a reminder that Jasmine Crockett is on the House oversight and judiciary committee.
Two very important committees.
They just don’t give those assignments out.
So if you’re still saying she has “no substance just vibes” then you obviously haven’t been listening.
I'm sorry Charlie Kirk was murdered. Hoping his killer can be brought to justice.
But we don't know the suspect or motive yet
In the meantime, talking about assassinated martyrs
Melissa Hortman.

“Otherwise, Putin would be sitting in Kyiv with his eyes on the rest of Europe, starting with Poland.” ~ @KamalaHarris on September 10, 2024
She called it, again.
Kamala’s knowledge on foreign policy is remarkable.
And I knew she was right about this the moment she said it.
