For every 5 skilled trades workers who retire, only 2 replace them — putting us on track for a 2.1 million shortfall by 2030.
The good news: starting July 1, under our Workforce Pell program, Americans can gain new skills to earn family-sustaining wages in months, not years.
Too many traditional degree programs leave students burdened with debt and little to no return on investment.
@POTUS’ new Workforce Pell Grant program will ensure that students earn more after completing a program than they would have otherwise.

Students succeed when parents are involved and power is returned back to states and communities. It's time to cut red tape in our education system and prioritize student achievement.

Today, HHS and @usedgov welcomed eight of the nation’s leading accreditors, assessors, and medical organizations to announce a historic development to increase nutrition requirements at every level of U.S. medical education, competency-evaluation, training, and residency.
Additionally, 19 new medical schools signed the Trump administration’s Nutrition Education Pledge, vowing to incorporate 40 hours of nutritional education or its competency equivalent into graduation requirements starting this fall.
ED probes Cherry Creek School District in Colorado amid allegations that it allows or sponsors a wide range of racially-discriminatory programming.
The Trump Administration will fully investigate and enforce federal education law to the fullest extent.

Today, HHS and @usedgov announced landmark commitments to expand nutrition in medical education across training, accreditation, and licensing. 🩺📚🍎
Title IX was instituted to secure equal opportunity and equal access for all women and girls.
Prior admins compromised the safety and privacy of women to perpetuate a radical ideology.
Now, under President Trump, biological facts and common sense are back!

“Americans have had enough of women and girls losing opportunities and being subjected to the indignity and danger of unfair competition due to the left’s warped application of [Title IX].” - @EdSecMcMahon
Criminals are no longer ripping off hardworking American taxpayers!
The Trump Administration is ensuring fraud, waste, and abuse is rooted out across higher education programs!
Today I had the honor of meeting with @EDSecMcMahon and her incredible team at the @usedgov.
We discussed the issues plaguing our schools including gender ideology infecting curriculum, p**n books in schools, Title IX violations with schools allowing boys in girl’s sports and bathrooms, and DEI race based discrimination.
Here’s some important points I got from our conversation that I feel is important to share:
- The Education Dept is working on President Trump’s vision of giving education back to the states. Just 10% of school funding is coming from the Dept of Education. They are coadministering many grants with other agencies as they shrink the bureaucracy and return ed to the states
- They already reallocated hundreds of millions of taxpayer dollars that were funding equity and lgbtq programs during the Biden admin
- Undid many shocking Biden-era practices which required 5/8 school counselors be black for example, or required districts have policies restricting the school from informing parents about a child’s gender change
- They’re investigating multiple districts for Title IX violations and will pull funding if necessary. BOYS CANNOT ENTER GIRLS SPORTS OR BATHROOMS. This is a straight up violation of the law. Any schools caught doing this should be exposed immediately and will face the consequences
- Parents have a right to their children’s education, curriculum, and records. Under FERPA a school is REQUIRED to hand over all records of a student to their parents. Parents do not need to file FOIAs. A simple request under FERPA is enough and if a school doesn’t cooperate that is a direct violation of the law. Similarly under PPRA, schools are REQUIRED to hand over all curriculum that a parent requests. Any schools caught hiding student records or curriculum is breaking the law and will be held accountable
This is the most pro-parent and pro-child administration. We will do whatever we can to help in protecting children in schools across our country.
Under President Trump, @HHSgov & @USDA have taken unprecedented steps to ensure the fruits and vegetables our children consume are fresh and safe.
Fresh food fuels sharp minds and supports student success in the classroom.
Democrats think every kid should learn the same way. That’s crazy.
Kids aren’t robots. Education freedom works because every child is different - and we’re so lucky to have a President who agrees!
This headline is inaccurate and dangerous. It’s typical of @AP to cast ED’s important civil rights investigations as black vs. white issues when we see students of ALL races struggle academically.
To allocate resources disproportionately to students of one race at the expense of others is not only a violation of civil rights law, but an infringement upon the basic fairness to which all students are entitled.
