"We will NEVER forget October 7th. We will NEVER forget the victims. And we will always stand against the forces of Terror and Evil." - President DONALD J. TRUMP 🇺🇸
.@POTUS on the anniversary of October 7, 2023: "I spoke with Bibi Netanyahu and I wished him well and I wished the people of Israel well. That was a horrible day, a horrible tragedy — and the other side is paying a very big price for what they did on October 7th, believe me."
Today, three years after the horrific October 7 attacks, we remember the innocent lives taken by Hamas terrorists.
The Trump Administration remains committed to confronting terrorism and bringing hostages home.
America will always stand as a beacon of freedom, defending our allies and values around the world.
Three years ago today, Hamas terrorists tortured, mutilated, and murdered 1,200 innocent civilians in Israel.
Among those slain were men, women, and children — including dozens of Americans.
We will never forget this act of barbarism against an ally and recommit ourselves to the defense of civilization.
Three years after Hamas terrorists carried out the deadliest attack on the Jewish people since the Holocaust, the pain and heartbreak of the families remain. Today and everyday, we remember the victims, stand with the survivors, and affirm the resilience of the Israeli people.
Good and light will always triumph over darkness and evil. We will always remember them.
@Isaac_Herzog
Today we remember the innocent lives murdered by Hamas terrorists on October 7, 2023, and honor the heroes who risked everything to save others.
We remember. We stand with Israel. 🇺🇸🇮🇱
This year we mark the third anniversary of the October 7 terrorist attacks, when Iran-backed Hamas invaded @Israel on the Jewish holiday of Simchat Torah and Shabbat. These terrorist savages proudly perpetrated the deadliest and most horrific crimes against the Jewish people since the Holocaust. Hamas massacred over 1,200 innocent men, women, and children—including dozens of Americans—and dragged 250 more into Gaza’s dungeons with a barbaric cruelty that shocked the world.
As @POTUS@realDonaldTrump rightly noted, that day reminded many of us of September 11, 2001, when radical Islamist terrorists driven by similar hatred murdered more than 3,000 Americans. May this anniversary serve as a stark reminder of why we stand shoulder-to-shoulder with Israel. We share Judeo-Christian values that unite us—and the same terrorist enemies that seek to destroy us. They will not prevail.
The Jewish people have faced a significant surge in antisemitism. This irrational Jew-hatred targets not only Jews around the world but also obsessively slanders the one and only Jewish state with libelous and baseless accusations.
We strongly stand with Israel and the Jewish people. We pray for the victims, their families, and the survivors. May their memories be a blessing.
Jerusalem is an extraordinary city, home to some of the richest traditions and warmest people you will ever find. Grateful to join many dear friends at Bnei Akiva’s HaKafot Shniyot in Liberty Bell Park to celebrate Simchat Torah and the conclusion of the High Holidays. An unforgettable night.
I’d like to express my utmost respect and, frankly, awe to Captain Smit Machchhar, the Indian pilot of Flydubai flight FZ1073, and to Yaniv Huyan and the other mostly Israeli passengers on that flight for preventing what would have been one of the world’s most horrific terrorist incidents. In a world in which machines and technology do so much for us, it’s really inspiring to read about raw acts of courage by people who are just living their normal lives and not anticipating such a challenge. The nations of India and Israel should be very proud! 🇮🇳✈️🇮🇱
Today I had the privilege of thanking the hero Yaniv Hayoun for his courageous actions saving a plane full of souls onboard FlyDubai FZ1073.
As a small token of gratitude, I gifted him a hat signed by our favorite @POTUS@realDonaldTrump.
On behalf of President Trump and the American people, thank you Yaniv! God bless you and your family.
I asked Israeli Meital Hayoun, wife of Yaniv the Israeli hero whose courageous action saved 170 ppl on flight who should play her husband in the movie. "Tom Cruise" was answer. I asked him who should play her. He said "The most beautiful woman in world." SMART & HEROIC!
Israeli plumber who heroically subdued terrorist & grabbed the controls of plane came to @usembassyjlm & I gave him my autographed hat from @POTUS . Yaniv & Meital Hayoun inspired the world. He loves @realDonaldTrump & I'll post his message to @POTUS later. What a story!
A true honor to meet with Israel’s Chief Rabbis, the Rishon LeZion Chief Rabbi David Yosef and Chief Rabbi Kalman Ber, during the sacred days of Sukkot.
I reaffirmed the United States’ commitment to protecting Jewish heritage, and thanked them for their leadership in guiding Jewish life.
We thank God and breathe a deep sigh of relief that the passengers of Fly Dubai FZ1073 are now safely in @Israel. Their heroism in the face of terror averted catastrophe.
Israel endures because its people refuse to surrender. And tonight we are even more proud to call this extraordinary nation our true partner.
Delighted to join Jerusalem mayor @MosheLion and distinguished guests at beautiful Safra Square to celebrate Sukkot, the Feast of Tabernacles. Just as the Lord sheltered His people in the wilderness, may He continue to protect and bless all who seek peace and justice today. Happy Sukkot and Chag Sameach.
The U.S. Embassy Jerusalem has been informed that checkpoints will be closed from September 27, 2026, to October 3, 2026, across the entire West Bank region. This means that there is no regular entry into Israel except for strictly medical and humanitarian reasons.
Jerusalem ID holders can still commute and travel freely. However, Arbel permit holders cannot cross checkpoints even by the shuttle. Exceptions can be considered only for medical and humanitarian reasons. More information will be shared if there are any significant changes to this policy. This is provided for your information as you make your own security plans.

Wishing all those celebrating Sukkot a joyful and meaningful holiday.
May this season of gratitude and harvest bring peace and abundance. Chag Sameach!
Terrible to see all these ambassadors to the UN walk out on Israel. Not nearly as many walked out on Iran yesterday — even after they machine gunned 40,000 of their own people.
