Every setback is a setup for a comeback. Stay strong, and remember that each day brings you closer to being even stronger than before. All the best for your future endeavors. It was a pleasure spending quality time and learns from Ur experience about game @ArshadIqbal32
Expansion of National T20 Cup should have also expanded the broadcasting landscape rather than shrinking the coverage to even lower than where it had reached in last 3 to 4 years.
Throwing matches of your premier T20 tournament in digital blind spot is nothing but awful. In this day and age, where broadcasting costs have come down significantly (due to streaming etc), having no live coverage of each of the 3 out of 4 matches is a stone age execution.
It is not only resulting in direct revenue loss for π΅π°PCB but it is also decreasing the probability of improving π΅π°Pakistanβs resource pool by making it more observable by the talent scouts of local and international leagues (who would pick a player without βseeingβ him play in competitive Cricket?)
For last few years, every game of National T20 was broadcasted live that not only helped in building the buzz about it but also helped in highlighting the in-form/upcoming/unseen talent and their appropriate placement in PSL and beyond - that eventually helped national selectors pick the already tried and tested (on near international level) players rather than trying and testing them (that much) at international level.
No wonder T20 is the format where Pakistan has done well recently and no wonder extended coverage has played a part in it. Putting National T20 coverage in reverse gear is bound to have its adverse effects, at International level as well.
