My favourite intro to overarm throw activity - EARTHQUAKE, evolved today! Designed to get Ss thinking about forceful movements during the action. Ss wet their tennis ball at the drink taps and SMASHED in into the hoop! The splat gave instant feedback on force and accuracy!
Tried out this instant activity the other day. The main focus being partner cooperation and teamwork. Still trying to come up with a name for this activity…. Thanks for sharing @TheHPEBlog#physed#wsdpe
LORD OF THE DECK RINGS - soccer/fútol game. 2 teams on each side of the court w/ 10-15 cones behind them. Teams cross the midline, put ball in a ring, 3 JJs, then runs their ball to the other team’s cones. Puts ball in the cone and runs it back to their side. Repeat! So much fun!
For students interested in PE, there are lots of options to choose from.
And if PE just isn't your thing, make sure you still get at least one hour of activity each day to weather the stress of VCE, write @CharlesSturtUni's @dr_bph + @VornC.
