We are saddened to hear of the passing of Leslie Jordan, member of our UTC theater alumni family. Jordan took time in 2020 to share a thoughtful video message of encouragement to our students on getting through the pandemic. 💙💛

UTC-ALERT Due to a National Weather Service snow advisory and forecast for below-freezing temperatures overnight in the Chattanooga area, UTC will operate on a two-hour delay Monday morning with campus offices opening at 10 a.m.
In response to rising numbers of COVID-19 cases and newly updated University of Tennessee System guidance, UTC is modifying mask-wearing protocols on campus effective immediately. Face masks must now be worn by everyone in all indoor public spaces on campus.

Horace Traylor, the first African American to graduate from the University of Chattanooga, has died at the age of 90. Dr. Traylor passed away on June 29, and memorial services will be held on July 12 in Miami, Florida.
