@munclenny We’ve been crying out for fullbacks that are good in the final third for years
We finally get one that can develop into one and we want to turn him into an average winger instead of an elite FB
🚨🇧🇷 Breaking: Carlo Ancelotti call Éderson to replace Wesley at the World Cup for Brazil!
Atalanta’s midfielder joins immediately and then he will sign as Manchester United new player in July. #MUFC
Does he grasp the gravity of saying we are going for the title either next year or the year after
To achieve that goal, we can’t keep signing 3 or 4 players and hoping that all of them work out
The smarter recruitment is praise worthy but we will need many more quality players
🚨🎙️ | Omar Berrada on Project 150:
“One of the goals that we've set out is to WIN the Premier League, the 21st title before 2028.
“So, ideally, we do it next season and if not, then the following season.
“I think we're in a GOOD place. We’ve seen some really good progress on the pitch this season.
“We're going to CONTINUE building on that. Investment will be made in different areas of the club.”
Same Man Utd fans that were angry that we signed Mbeumo and Cunha over Xavi Simons and Wirtz
They also wanted us to sell Bruno and sign Baleba and Palmer, these are the same guys angry we signed Ederson btw
Can never take them seriously
Manchester United, it’s not too late to add a name to your shortlist!
Despite playing the majority of games as a 6, with his versatility also seeing him deployed at RB, LB and as an 8, James Garner has racked up 2 goals and 7 assists this season.
His duel % puts him in the 100th percentile and possession won 96th; that’s Casemiro territory and better than Elliot Anderson!
His ball progression has also stood out, with forward passes sitting in the 83rd percentile and key passes in the 77th percentile. His overall passing accuracy still remains strong at 87%. He has created 56 chances, 12 big chances and made 53 successful crosses.
In fact, he outperforms Tonali, Scott and Baleba on every single key metric and outshines Elliot Anderson on most metrics (besides dribbles and defensive contributions).
Seeing as we are data led, Garner is English, not headed to the World Cup, only 25 and likely cheaper than Elliot Anderson and potentially Sandro Tonali, it is baffling why we didn’t fight to bring him home.
@donthypeem I have a question about Leao. Does her ever cross the ball consistently?
Not a squared ball. But a full cross from outside the box into a teammate or the back post. We need that
@badasskachii It’s average for the type of player he is. When attacker makes output their main thing, they can only get away with it by having some of the best numbers in the world
Leao does not
