This week the general ID team saw not 1...not 2...but 3 cases of malaria which is absolutely unheard of! Who knew I'd need to know the stages of malaria past Step 1 😅

Truly didn't realize the enormity of Parkland until I saw it for the first time. 882 beds compared to 640 at my med school 😱. On my way in for my last day on ID consults. Gotta love that 8 AM start time for consult life ☺️
