(2/2) The study aims to generate critical data that could expand treatment options for patients with spinal metastases. Drs. Banghao Zhou and Lixiang Guo, former grad students in Dr. Wang's BIRTLab, contributed to building UTSW’s FLASH research program and this achievement.
(1/2) Drs. Ken Wang, Paul Medin, and Weiguo Lu received a $3.4M NCI R01 grant to advance FLASH radiotherapy research. The project will study whether FLASH irradiation can reduce late normal tissue injury and support clinical translation, particularly for spinal re-irradiation.
