Last night, I had a dream so vivid it felt real. I found myself at the @token2049 crypto event in Dubai, scheduled for April 30 - May 1, 2025. The atmosphere was electric, filled with industry giants and crypto enthusiasts. But what was I doing there?

I mean, I don’t have the funds or connections to attend such events, nor the courage to mingle with tech moguls. But dreams? They make the impossible feel ordinary. And then, something extraordinary happened…

There he was, @elonmusk. Yes, Elon Musk, the owner of X, a man I deeply admire. Seeing him there shocked not just me but everyone in my dream. He had NEVER attended @token2049 before, preferring to engage with the crypto community online due to his schedule.

I share the same birth month as him (June!), and that little connection makes me feel an even deeper admiration for him. His fast thinking, fearless innovation, and ability to push boundaries inspire me every single day. He’s my idol in the tech space.

So imagine my nerves when I realized I had the chance to speak to him. My pulse quickened, but I gathered all my courage, walked up to him, and said, “Nice to meet you.” To my surprise, he greeted me warmly, his eyes twinkling with curiosity.

We spoke briefly, me a dreamer, and him, a living legend. I even asked, “Would it be okay to take a photo with you?” He grinned and said, “Of course.” That moment was pure MAGIC. But then something even more incredible happened…

“What’s your X handle?” he asked casually.

For a second, I thought I hadn’t heard him correctly. “My X handle?”

“Yes,” he replied, typing into his phone. “Let me follow you.”

Elon Musk. Following me. I almost screamed with joy!

When the notification popped up on my phone, I couldn’t contain myself. “Thank you so much!” I screamed with excitement.

He chuckled and said, “Keep doing what you’re doing. You never know where it might lead.”

Then, just as I was soaking in the surreal joy, I hit my leg on the foot of my bed. Pain jolted me awake, and reality hit me like a tidal wave, it was all a dream.

“Mcheewww,” I sighed in frustration, realizing it wasn’t real.

But here’s the thing: that dream felt like a glimpse into endless possibilities. Maybe I haven’t met @elonmusk yet, but it reminded me that dreams aren’t just escapism, they’re a blueprint for what’s possible.

One day, I might find myself attending @token2049, not as a spectator, but as someone who truly belongs. If there’s one thing I’ve learned from my idol, it’s this:
Innovation starts with a dream and the courage to make it real.
