Pham Tran Phu An, a student at @UWCollegiate, has been awarded the University of Toronto International Scholar Award, valued at up to $225,000!

Tran arrived in Winnipeg from Vietnam, alone, this past September to pursue a better education.

Oct 3/23 was a historic night for one Collegiate alumnus, as Wab Kinew (Class of 1999) was elected to become the next premier of Manitoba. Mr. Kinew is set to become the first First Nations Premier in the province’s history.

Jacob Brodovsky (UWC Class of 2010) latest record, titled “I Love You and I’m Sorry”, was released in August of 2022. Songs from this album and Brodovsky’s other work will be showcased at his concert on Thursday, January 19 at 7:00 PM at the West End Cultural Centre.

After graduating from the Collegiate with the Class of 1967, Susan Thompson went on to make history as the City of Winnipeg’s first female Mayor, holding that position from 1992 to 1998.
