Lately, it has been all things trees at our ENVS 200 labs! Students learned about restoration efforts at the North Campus Environmental Reserve and planted their own trees. This week students learned about tree ID using Trees in Canada books π²π³π

Our ERS 340 class spent the other week learning about OBBN (Ontario Benthic Biomonitoring Network) protocol. Students went to North Campus to collect samples then took them back into the lab to identify!

We had a busy week supporting various courses! ENVS 200 conducted soil analysis to test for K, P, N & pH. GEOG 209 got into Laurel Creek where they measured the velocity. GEOG 391 students have been using the Lab's equipment for snow analysis testing for chlorides. @envwaterloo
