Amazes me we live in a country where we let this happen.

I get it we like drinking and socialising indoors. But so does #coronavirus. And then it kills people.

@matthaig1 @dansodergren From the get go back in January, young people have been given the message that Covid doesn’t affect them. Combined with the drive to get everyone out and about, it’s no wonder nobody knows what to do anymore. The government’s communication has been appalling throughout.

@BradPhillipsRN Totally agree. I worked in diabetes care for a number of years. We never used the word diabetic, always ‘people with diabetes’. Although I did notice that some people would abbreviate to PWD, kind of defeating the object ☹️
