@nepetayard @scrapspilled Can you explain the personality aspect? I agree that she's black bc of her design but I really don't understand how personality influences a character's ethnicity. Someone as sweet as Cocoa or someone as aggressive as Shrimpo could both be the black in my opinion.

@WOAHCRISSS_ @baginshieldmeus According to this logic, no Brazilian is 100% Brazilian. Everyone will be Italian-Brazilian, Portuguese-Brazilian, Angolan-Brazilian, etc, because Brazil has a mix of various ancestries! (And this happens at the same time that gringos act as if latinos were a race.)

Black Peruvians are black, white Peruvians are white, mestizo Peruvians are mestizos. Just don't generalize an entire nationality like that.

The comment mentioned that the actress was white, and u said that most Latinos were ethnically mestizos, so she was too...? That's just ignorant, bc being Peruvian is not an ethnicity.
