the cold, hard truth about success is you won’t do it alone, you’re never in complete control & it’s not entirely in your hands
you need relationships, backers, a huge slice of luck & the right timing to make it
Truly, @KalondoMonica stands as a woman of unparalleled valor, her grace and strength is awe inspiring as she honors her late husband, President Hage Geingob in speech, with unwavering dignity and poise.
😭❤️
I admire people who research and familiarize themselves with their audience.
President Chakwera of Malawi did just that.
His speech demonstrated exceptional attention to detail going as far as seamlessly pronouncing the Namibian regions and some streets!
There will be a procession with the remains of Dr. Hage Geingob on Friday.
The procession will be along the following routes:
Starting at State House, proceed via Laurent Desire Kabila Street to Robert Mugabe Avenue and onto Jan Jonker Street and Rehobother Rd. The procession carrying Dr. Geingob’s remains will then proceed on to David Hosea Meroro Road and Hendrick Witbooi Drive, further connecting to Moses ||Garoeb Street, Winnie Madikizela Mandela Road and Independence Avenue, Sam Nujoma Drive, and eventually reaching Casa Rosalia, the former President's private residence.
The late President’s remains will then be moved from Casa Rosalia to the Parliament Gardens, where it will lie in state, to allow the general public to pay their last respects.
The body of Dr. Geingob will be ready for viewing at Parliament Gardens from 18:30 until 11:30 on Saturday, February 24th.
The procession will then move from Parliament Gardens to Independence Stadium for the Memorial Service, where Dr. Geingob’s remains will continue to lie in state after the memorial.

On 18 June 1989, I returned to Namibia after 27 years of exile. I was overwhelmed with emotion, anxiety about expectations. Looking back 30yrs later, we are a better country than the one inherited in 1990. With unity we shall overcome challenges. Don’t call me a returnee anymore.
From the poignant moment he reverently touched the soil of his ancestral homeland upon concluding his exile, he devoted the entirety of his tenure to the advancement and prosperity of the Namibian nation, displaying an unwavering commitment that endured until his final breath.
