One of the coolest invertebrates living in the wet forests of New Zealand are the impressive Leaf-veined Slugs! 🌳

They are active on wet nights, where they slide their pickle-body around on trees and leaves to feed on algae! 🌿

To say I was excited to meet this creature last year was an UNDERSTATEMENT! Like, this is what PERFECT evolution looks like to me! 😍💚

@arvalis @jam_etc I mean, same shit as fury road, right? “Come see our movie, it’s all practical effects!” Well, the cars were certainly practical, but I’m pretty sure they weren’t actually moving anywhere for most of those shots. Mostly CG backgrounds. And it looks awesome!

@jdragsky Its about the optics: people expect wizards to have an orb, and so to perform being a wizard, you need to make sure that your orb is prominent in your tower decor. The higher quality crystal, the better. Without an orb, other magicians will start to see you as "not wizard enough"
