After a long hiatus, I return with another entry in the series, “things my ADHD wife says”
Yesterday evening she asked me, “what time does the big light in the sky turn off”
I’ll let you guys sit with that one for a while….
@yungreal69 just by the way, if you have to spam harassment advertisements in other peoples chats, your stream is bottom of the barrel dogshit, just like you as a person you fucking cunt waffle.
Alrighty homies this is gonna be a long one so buckle the fuck up. I know I’ve been pretty MIA for the past few months. Mostly this has been because work has been absolutely all consuming but I’ve also taken some time to reflect on what it is exactly I get out of streaming.
As some of you know, Cancer is the main reason I started streaming. I was stuck inside, unable to drive, feeling super fatigued from chemo. I felt like I was watching life play out for others while it passed me by. I knew couldn’t change the situation I was in, but there were things I could do to at least keep me from going insane. I needed a way to keep myself engaged and social. I’d always lurked in streams but never actually spent much time thinking about being on the other side of the camera.
The thing is, I was already playing games cause that was about all I could so I thought why the fuck not, let’s give this shit a go. I’m fucking glad I did. It was a life line at a time I desperately needed something to hold on to. I’ve met some fucking awesome people, some I even got to meet in real life as I got better.
At this point however, it feels like that magic has been lost. It doesn’t feel like we are building genuine connections with people any more. It has the facade of a community, built on a system of clout farming and manufactured engagement.
This isn’t what I wanted this to be about, for me at least, and that’s all I can speak to. My own personal reasons for doing this and my own personal experience.
If you’re winning in the current meta, then all the fucking power to you, I won’t knock anyone genuinely trying to make a life for themselves.
For me though, I need this to be about genuine connections, meeting new people, chatting shit, sharing memes and having interesting and thought provoking conversations from time to time.
So, from now on, I will just be hanging out, playing games, and chatting with anyone and everyone who comes through. I’m not in this to climb the ladder, that’s what my day job is for. I’m here for genuine human connection, and that’s what my stream is always gonna be about. So if that sounds like a bit of you, you’re always welcome in the Degen Clubhouse ❤️
Much love as always homies.
Thanks for coming to my TED talk 😂
Massive thank you to @RealHokiePokie and @StealYaGranny for the awesome support yesterday and @UberFluff94 for an awesome welcome back to streaming! I appreciate you all!

Wellll soo much for that stream 😂 super bad weather out in the country today, so power keeps cutting out intermittently!
I think I’ll call it today but I’ll be back for a few streams this week! Soz homies! Much love as always!
The subathon begins tomorrow homies! We starting the absolute chaos with Cursed halo. You are not going to want to miss this! It is broken in all the right ways, from perfect accuracy sniper Jackels to piss grunts and the gmod tool gun. I promise you it will not disappoint. I’ll see you in there!
So as you all know I'm a big fan of Soulslike games, especially Elden ring. As such during the Subathon, i will be integrating @CrowdControl to allow you to make my life a living hell While we play through Elden ring yet again. This tool allows you to spawn in bosses, mobs, trigger one hit ko mode, and all kinds of suffering!
You'll find it pinned in the stream chat while we are live playing Elden ring. I've set all the costs as low as is reasonable so you can essentially spam the suffering as much as you want (probably a bad call but eh, YOLO)
See ya in there!
