I understand his point but Halo is not Call Of Duty.

A Battle Royale would require the core gameplay of Halo being completely changed, Halo can do so much more than follow a (once) popular trend and losing its identity.

I think Master Chief needs to become a mythical character again.

Even if he doesn’t lead the next game, his appearance should mean something. Make it feel like an event when Chief shows up.
