Partially true… I believe competition and time will drive cost down.. for example, Anthropic just partnered with SpaceX to use their Colossus supercomputer, which has already allowed them to increased usage. As more independent infrastructure increases, the 'high cost' barrier will likely drop, not rise. And with time, existing and new techs will find a way to make compute usage more efficient and economical

I’m proud of it but I don’t want APC to ruin my life. I no be pikin again. For example, Light Up Lagos was a 24 billion naira project; all the lights on the 3rd Mainland Bridge don fall finish from one rain. Is that the life you want? What’s there to be proud about? Until they throw us all into abject poverty?
