@BBCSport FIFA's leadership has failed football. Selecting a polarizing host like the USA for a tournament meant to unite the world is a disgraceful, indefensible betrayal of the sport's values.
@NotAvgLiberal The US is rotting into the very tyrannies it once condemned. Trump stands indicted, convicted, impeached twice. Apparently he occupies the Oval Office with a rap sheet that would imprison any other citizen. Democracy didn't just bend; it broke.
@DougWahl1 Absolutely, the second term comes without guard rails and the world is living with the consequences. Americans have been hoodwinked so much so that a 3rd term for the 'King" is under consideration. I tell you, this "king" has the audacity of a toddler.
@mjfree One cannot rule out the possibility of a wannabe King pressuring Infantino to rig the matches in favour of some country. Knowing Infantino's antecedents, especially with the politically charged FIFA Peace Prize, he may just consider it in some form just to appease the "King".
@ImBreckWorsham See how quickly Trump and his devious cohorts have compromised American institutions once thought to be guilded from such. It's hard to imagine that the US Govt. could actually match "3rd world" countries as regards greed, avarice & incompetence.
@otokyo Happily before the Trump era. America was loved by more than three quarters of the globe before Trump. That in it self is responsible for America's greatness. The best brains emigrated to US and contributed to its once enviable state. MAGA wouldn't know the difference.
@BiatchDulce Mr Trump would go to any lengths to achieve his devious plans. He is aware that if out of office, there is a high risk of jail time. The "assasination" attempt is one clear example of his evil genuis. It would be interesting to watch how Americans react.
@Amelia558rs It certainly isn't yours. The way I see it, there parents are no longer there to look after them. It only makes sense that the children do so if they are not able to take care of themselves. Stop with the self serving questions and leave people be. No law insists that you do
