1) There is an arbitrage between cost of capital and bitcoin price appreciation.
2) Borrowing at rates attractive to lenders + using PPE that nullifies principal repayment.
3) Avoid ALM by overcollateralizing
4) Dont buy into the thesis? short it

@deepakshenoy Hi, Increase in money supply of INR as per RBI since 1990 is 13% CAGR. Increase in money supply of USD since decades is 7% CAGR. INR has no reason to appreciate against the dollar unless there is specific intervention like with the RMB/AED/etc.

@chokhani_manish Money supply inflation (measured by M2 is considerably higher. The chart below shows that from 1992, M2 has increased 53x, which is compounded at ~ 13.5%. Real returns are considerably worse.

@JasonPLowery Its an admission of weakness. Historically, anytime Govts/locals start buying other *harder* currencies, its own currency is going to 0. Better to stall/stay silent while allowing US Co's to stack sats and build infra for it. They may also secretly buy it and never reveal it.

Its also very visible as you will have like 7-8% + down on a single day.
